I'm a young, self-taught artist... I draw mostly fan art of Pokemon and Adventure Time. I like to cosplay for the fun of it and will occasionally upload pics from photo-shoots. I really got into Deviant Art as a silly little anime fan girl, back when anime was the hot thing. Drawing and obsessing over anime taught me as much as it could I think, and now I'm taking a step back and developing my own style. The only issue with that is that my style varies greatly...
I don't consistently produce the same kind of art with the same technique. I prefer to draw by hand, then trace with Adobe Flash, then polish with Adobe Photoshop, but that's not always what I do. Sometimes I draw with straight Photoshop, but that program tends to think I've got serious tremors or something because I can't draw a straight line at all. On occasion I'll make Flash animations, usually frame-by-frame and using primarily the brush tool. When I take a notion to, I will take photography of things I think are pretty and funny angles. The vast majority of my gallery consists of anime-style drawings though, mostly because I've been doing that the longest.
It's a well-known fact that I also write fanfiction! I usually do it with my very dear friends ~pirate-o-night-mif
and update here fairly consistently. The longest singular fanfiction I've ever written was over 300 pages (Times New Roman, 12pt, single spaced)
and was written with Alex. I've been told by many an English teacher that my prose is lovely, which makes me feel really glad.
When I'm not drawing or writing or wearing costumes, I'm probably playing videogames. I'm a huge fan of 8-bit games like 1st generation Pokemon, but my all-time favorite game is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for Nintendo Gamecube. I dig some new things though too, I'm a huge fan of Halo 3, Gears of War 1-3, Portal 1-2, Rock Band 1-3 + The Beatles Rock Band, and quite a few others. I recently got BACK into playing Magic: the Gathering with some new friends after having not touched the game in nearly 6 years.
A little bit about myself, I'm a university student, currently being owned by my Electrical Engineering major. My best friends are still my pals from high school, but I've made a lot of new, awesome friends at the university too. I'm that annoying chick who sits in the front row to take good notes and then draws in her notebook instead of writing down formulas. I want to somehow survive and get a degree so I can get a well-paying job and live comfortably, but more importantly, not do dishes, make my bed, or do my laundry. I have strange tastes in music, entertainment and friends. I'm a lesbian, but I'm not interested in any kind of relationship... I'm more of a look-don't-touch kind of person. I'm pretty easygoing and don't tend to stress about things. I dislike my mother like any disaffected youth, but of course she's never really thought I was good enough to begin with, so I suppose that's only fair... Whatever, I just want my own house away from the city where I live comfortably with a pet Fennec fox and an English bulldog to lay on my feet and keep them warm...
I don't typically do commissions, though if I get the time over the summer I may open commissions very briefly...
You can find me (Stelera) all over the internet! I'm also on Fanfiction.net, Y-Gallery, and Youtube.
