[edit] The app has been appended to include Moegi, my Flareon. She's Udon's sister and youngest of my original three. She's hot-headed (lol pun) and stubborn but also has a big crush on Lazuli the shiny Umbreon.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Stelera Kinsman

Age: 19

Personality: Surprisingly mature for her age, she’s always in the mood for a quick contest battle. Sometimes Stelera can get a little over-competitive, but she tries not to let things go to her head. When it comes to her Pokémon, she’s level-headed, having developed a firm, understanding relationship with each member of her party. She can be very outgoing and act like a bit of a know-it-all in social situations, but she’s trying to do better.

Likes: Spicy/sweet/sour things; Warm/hot/dry/sunny days; Eevees and Eevee evolutions; Friendly competition; Spring/Summer; Traveling by foot; Winning

Dislikes: Bitter/dry things; Cold/windy/rainy/snowy days; Bullies/bully Pokémon; Winter/Autumn; Traveling by sea; Being in or surrounded by water

History:

> Family: Very little is known about Stelera’s family aside from her father. Her Father, Philip Kinsman, is a now retired independent Pokémon researcher and breeder; his studies focused on the natural traits and development of the Eevee species and its many forms. He is responsible for the development of the “Kinsman Theory of Grounding” which states that all electric type Pokémon have an electric center similar to a voltage source in any common circuit, and by short-circuiting this electrical center, the Pokémon’s ability to manipulate the flow of electricity can be taken away. He developed this theory while observing a Jolteon in battle. The Jolteon had taken a nose-dive into the dirt, and it’s spiked fur immediately lay flat against its body, and took significant re-charging to re-galvanize its body. From this he learned that the center of a Jolteon’s electricity is in its muzzle, and one can ground a Jolteon simply by pressing its nose to the earth. He did more research with different species of electric Pokémon and developed a complete manual on grounding each species of electric type. Through the publication of his theory, Philip Kinsman was able to make enough money to retire and live comfortably in a penthouse in his bustling hometown of Celadon City.

> Early Childhood: Stelera was raised by her father while he worked in his research laboratory in Celadon City. She attended the Pokémon Academy, a finishing school for young future trainers where she studied battling strategies and type advantages. When she turned 10 and was ready to set out on her Pokémon adventure, Philip Kinsman gave her his very own Eevee, Drake. Many years ago the two of them had set off on their own Pokémon journey, but Philip found he did not have the strength for battle and became a lab assistant and later a researcher. Early in their journey, Stelera realized that Drake tended to be unruly and didn’t care for her as a trainer. In the end it was Drake’s sometimes terrifying strength in battle that kept them moving, not necessarily Stelera’s abilities as a trainer. Eventually trust was kindled between the pair and Stelera grew into a full-fledged Pokémon trainer. Secretly, Drake forged a romance with Xylatill, a teal-eyed Eevee owned by Tazzy Ditie, a trainer who briefly traveled with Stelera as their paths converged for a while. This romance bore the couple three Eevee kits which the pair decided should accompany Drake and Stelera. After secretly taking the three precious eggs to his trainer, Drake did his best to hide who the mother was from Stelera, and to this day she still can only guess that Xylatill bore the three. As you may have guessed, the eggs hatched into three happy, healthy kits who were nearly immediately given their evolution stones and begun training as Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon.

> Late Childhood/Early Adulthood: Stelera gave up her early dream to become the greatest Eevee trainer of all time and to become the Pokémon League Champion after her journey through Johto took a turn for the tragic. When Shizuka, her Espeon was killed in a battle with Falkner at the Violet City Gym, the death shook Stelera and her party to the core. Afterwards, the will to battle died out of Udon and Moegi both, and Stelera could only agree. She cast all the Gym badges she had earned over the years into Lake Blue-Moon and abandoned the pursuit of the Pokémon League. Instead she turned to self-enlightenment and conducted field research for several years as she moved from region to region studying evolution and breeding. After years of research and constant travel, Stelera finally settled down on a ranch in Sinnoh just Northeast of Lake Valor and South of Veilstone City. Now on her ranch Stelera breeds and researches Eevees and their evolutions. She received a generous grant from Professor Rowan’s Evolution Research Fund which built her a state-of-the-art breeding and research facility on her ranch. To keep the ranch running and to keep her many Pokémon well cared for, Stelera participates in Pokémon Contests, bringing home just enough money to keep her laboratory and ranch running.

Additional Info:

Drake - Eevee (male)
Name means: Dragon
Drake always had a rebellious nature and never took to Stelera much as a trainer. More often than not Drake conducted battles the way he saw fit and mere allowed Stelera to watch. In this way, Drake is semi-responsible for Stelera actually learning how to be a good battle trainer. It was said by a psychic, Yunichi, who Stelera met in her journey through Johto that drake has “the personality of a dragon.” Through a romantic brush with another trainer’s Eevee, Xylatill, Drake fathered three kits, Raiko (Jolteon), Udon (Vaporeon), and Moegi (Flareon). Even as he retired from battle, Drake never gave up on his training and is currently the strongest Pokémon living on Stelera’s ranch, with a remarkable level of 94. Drake never evolved, and wears an everstone on a chain around his neck to keep things that way. Having trained himself brutally in private, Drake forced himself to learn the ways of the dragon, and he refuses to evolve in to anything but a dragon.

Raiko - Jolteon (male)
Name means: Lightning
Raiko is Stelera's first evolved Eevee and a fiercely strong and loyal Pokemon. There is no battle he will turn down, and it is that fighting spirit that drove him all the way to the elite four in Kanto many years ago. When the pursuit of the champion title abandoned after the death of Shizuka the Espeon in a battle against Falkner's Pidgotto, Raiko's passion for battle only flared more. The Jolteon became hot-tempered, quick to anger, and prone to bolting off into the forest when distressed. Even so, Raiko would always return at the end of the day after his mind had been calmed by solitude. Though through the years, he became used to the idea of giving up battling, the Jolteon refused to let himself become weak and even without any foes to battle against, Raiko continued his training. His heart was always for battle, and he always partially blamed his brother and Shizuka's mate, Udon, for the abandonment of the battling journey. Because of this, Raiko always refused to participate in Pokémon Contests. Instead, he elected to stay behind at the ranch, his great strength putting him in the position of a guardian. Raiko is a shepherd of sorts to his clan, protecting the younger, weaker Pokémon on the ranch and being the first line of defense against intruders and disasters. An abnormally high special attack stat lends him to another vital role in management of the facility; providing electricity to keep things running. Raiko, accompanied by a small brigade of Jolteon, spend each morning charging up the power cells that run the ranch all day. Where Katsumi serves as the Ranch's manager in Stelera's absence, Raiko is the security and maintenance.

Udon – Vaporeon (male)
Name means: Noodles
A senior member of my party who has been traveling with me since Kanto region. When he was very young, just hitting an enemy was a struggle; his accuracy was so low Udon relied on the move Swift that was guaranteed to hit. I noticed this was a problem and took him in to see professor Oak who identified Udon as being chronically near-sighted. I was at a loss with how to proceed; I felt a very strong bond with Udon and his siblings, Raiko and Moegi (Jolteon and Flareon respectively). There was no way we could ever conquer the elite four with a Pokémon who could hardly see his own toes. There had to be an alternate solution. It took a lot of funds and a long, slow, rather sickening boat ride from Kanto to Hoenn, but I eventually came to the doorstep of the one man who could help us; a famed glassblower living just east of Fallarbor Town. With the help of this skilled craftsman, We were able to forge a pair of glasses that corrected Udon’s vision wonderfully. His siblings and I abandoned the prospect of battling the elite four, and it was then I found my calling to be the study and breeding of Eevee. I wanted to make sure that no other trainer would have to go through the same thing my party and I had. After several years, the glasses that had been made by the glassblower for Udon began to show signs that they would not be adequate. As I and my Vaporeon began training for Pokémon contests on the side, the glasses proved to be too great of a hindrance to be overlooked any longer; they were constantly falling off and fogging up, leaving Udon without his vision. Removing the glass from the specs, I worked tirelessly to create a new system, and with much tinkering, I finally created a set of goggles that fit Udon specifically. They would never slide around, they would keep the elements from his eyes, they would help him to see mid-attack with water and ice rushing past. He was finally ready for competition.

Moegi – Flareon (female)
Name means: Sprouts
The youngest of Stelera’s original three Eevee evolutions, Moegi is generally soft-spoken but strong-willed. She spent many of her early years pushed aside by her older brothers as the Vaporeon and Jolteon bickered and fought constantly over control of the party. Moegi tries her very best not to take sides between her beloved brothers, but this occasionally gets her into trouble when they come to her for a ruling. Moegi once had a very good relationship with the lovely and wise Shizuka (Espeon), but when Shizuka was killed in a gym battle gone awry, the Flareon was almost as devastated as Udon (Vaporeon) who had been Shizuka’s mate. Because of this tragedy, Moegi has come to sympathize more with Udon than with Raiko, and thus began siding with the Vaporeon. Because of this horrible family feud, Moegi often feels drawn when in the presence of both siblings. To distract herself from the inner turmoil, the Flareon plunged into egocentric behavior, preening her coat and dieting on only dry foods which increase the natural radiance of her fur. At first she was very jealous of Hazumi (Leafeon) and Lazuli (Umbreon) when they joined the Contest Party because the other Eevee evolutions had rare, and beautiful qualities. Though she still holds envy in her heart for Hazumi, Moegi has developed a deep, secret longing for Lazuli, though she’d never breathe a word about it to a soul.

Shizuka – Espeon (female)
Name means: Serene
Shizuka’s story is a tragic one. I acquired her during my studies of Espeopn and Umbreon in the Johto region, a sleek calm Pokémon with an unparalleled sense of inner balance. Shizuka was the pure essence of radiance and serenity, as if every cell of her being was justified and pure. It didn’t take long for Udon (Vaporeon) to fall in love with her; though it would take a very keen eye to notice, I saw the spite and jealousy in Raiko’s (Jolteon) eyes when he looked upon his brother and his new mate. It seemed as if Raiko was the only member of the party who disapproved of the Espeon’s presence, he looked upon her with contempt in private, begrudging how she had taken the favor of his siblings from him. It was true, both the Vaporeon and Flareon adored the new Eevee evolution, Moegi looking up to her with the adoration of a younger sister while Udon looked to her with romance in his eyes. Udon and Shizuka were subject to a deep infatuation with each other, the likes of which you might expect to see in the movies. It was my full intention to allow the pair to retire from battling and start a life together once I found a permanent place to settle, but that dream was cut short too soon. Shizuka was murdered in a gym battle turned bloody by a Pidgeotto owned by Falkner of Violet Town. In fit of anger and blinding grief, Udon attacked the Pokémon that had killed his lover without my command, and savagely tore the bird to shreds. When I tried to console him, he snarled at me, effectively showing me how he at least partially blamed me for her death. Udon ran away that day, and it was days before I finally found him curled up by the shores of Lake Blue-Moon. It was because my party was so shaken by Shizuka’s death that I decided to change my career path drastically. That day I gave up training Pokémon for battle, and decided to find a living in breeding and research like my father. To keep my party active and to bring money in to support us, I took up Pokémon Coordination. I shoulder most of the blame for Shizuka’s tragic death, as I shoulder the blame for crushing Raiko’s dream of defeating the elite four.

Hazumi – Leafeon (female)
Name means: Bounce/Resilience
I was studying the effects of different genes and breeding Eevee for beauty not two years back. Hazumi was one of a rather small group of young Eevee, all of which I had selected to become Leafeon. With the litter on my hip, I took the lot of them to the moss rock where they all evolved into lovely grass types. There were many characteristics I found fascinating that showed themselves among the evolved Pokémon but not in their un-evolved forms. There was a particular gene isolated in one of my Eevee queens which led to a handsome roundness to the tips of the ears, and another led to a bright, golden hue to the eyes. One of the newly transformed Leafeon stuck out to me very much in particular, however. Hazumi, beautiful in her own right, but not the pick of the litter in the least bit, had developed a little pink lump on her head just in front of the left ear. At first I was frightened, thinking my young Pokémon to be injured or to have received an impure gene causing a deformity, but in my hours of contemplation I never did discover what the strange little knot was. It wasn’t until the snows of winter began their thaw (yes, I had made the mistake of breeding Leafeon in the off-season, not something I will be doing again) that the little lump showed it’s true self. One day I noticed that the deformity had altered in shape and taking a close look, found it to be twisted on itself. Not two days later, the little bud unfurled into a cute, light pink blossom. Though I have tried several more times to achieve the effect of a flowering Leafeon, there has been no success. Since, Hazumi has been adopted into my permanent party and lends her uncanny beauty to contests.

Lazuli – Umbreon (male)
Name means: A bright, blue semi-precious gem
Like most other trainers, I covet the rare and beautiful things in nature, and for years I have been aiding in the research of Professors Rowan and Elm with my work in Eevee genetics. It was very surprising, however, when I received through the PC, a Pokémon as a gift from Professor Rowan. He told me that the enclosed specimen was of a very high pedigree and very rare and as such I should treat the contents with care. I didn’t know what to expect when I opened that Pokéball up, but I certainly wasn’t expecting a tiny, gray Eevee. Knowing my affinity for the species, the Prof. had bread his own Eevee with a Ditto from overseas. When the offspring had emerged from its egg as a “shiny” he had immediately thought to send the kit to me. Of course, like most traded Pokémon, this one was rather standoffish, he seemed to be aware of his pedigree breeding and would turn his nose up at economy-value foods. I’d thought “Little Gray” as I had started calling him, to be lazy in nature as he spent the vast majority of the days asleep when other Eevee of his same age group were out romping with their peers. It wasn’t until it was too late that I realized that “Little Gray” had been sneaking out at night to train himself. One day I simply noticed that “Little Gray” wasn’t anywhere to be found, in a panic, I nearly ransacked the ranch until I found “Little Gray,” no longer little and no longer gray. He was curled up underneath my porch having evolved in the dead of night into Umbreon without my knowing. After he evolved, Lazuli became much more friendly, his midnight training sessions dropping off and giving him energy to interact during the day. Fascinated by the beautiful blue rings on his body and the way his fur seemed to glisten like dew, I simply had to enter him into a contest if only to see what the judges would think of him. It was a foolish idea, as it would turn out to be; unused to receiving contest-commands, Lazuli floundered, the pair of us coming in last place. To make up for the more than humiliating defeat, however, I gave him the necklace I had become rather attached to, a beautiful stone of smooth lapis lazuli on a flat, silver chain. Since, the two of us have bonded immensely well, but Lazuli has never forgotten his pedigree.

Katsumi - Lucario (female)
Name means: Beautiful Victory
Katsumi is one of the few Pokémon living on Stelera's ranch which is not a member of the extensive breeding and genetic studies program. She is also the only Pokémon on the ranch which is not a member of the 'Eevee family'. Instead, Katsumi helps to keep the ranch going while Stelera is away at contests earning money to keep the facilities going. Because of her height and posture advantage, Katsumi is very frequently put in charge of tasks that normally would be left to a human caretaker such as filling the feed troughs daily, running errands in town, and locking the facilities down at night. Due to her heightened sense of responsibility to her smaller Pokémon counterparts, Katsumi has developed a mental impression that she is actually human. Respecting her friend's mindset, Stelera has always treated Katsumi as an equal, rather than a pet or a Pokémon. Though for all ownership purposes, Katsumi belongs to Stelera, she is free to come and go as she pleases, though not without consequence at the abandonment of her duties. When Stelera is at the ranch, Katsumi shares meals with her at the table, managing to wield a pair of chopsticks, even without thumbs.
